NBDG-X Sicó Open @ Valle d'Encanto presented by Disc Tree

We are happy to start cooperation with the beautiful Valle d'Encanto discgolf park, located in Alvaiázere, Central Portugal. As the event organizer, we feel this a start for something bigger because Valle d'Encanto offers a great for spot for disc golf events. In 2026 and in the future.

    Update, June 30: Based on feedback, the main event has been changed to include two rounds, one round with tee times per day. Based on feedback, the originally planned two rounds on first day and one round on second day would have been too rough on this course with a lot of elevation changes.

VALLE D'ENCANTO DISCGOLF PARK

Valle d'Encanto discgolf park is located in the heart of Alvaiázere, in Central Portugal. It is a natural sanctuary where sport and adventure merge into a unique experience. The course is opened in 2025 and is set on a private property. The course features soem steep elevations, tight wooded holes and more open fields.

What to do in Portugal?

Play disc golf, that is obvious. But Portugal is not only about disc golf, it is an amazing travel destination for everyone. The nature is absolutely stunning with all the mountain areas, beaches, forests and spectacular coast lines. It is highly recommend to take alittle bit longer visit here and extend your travels around the disc golf events. Nice tips to the Central Portugal area can be found on Visit Portugal website.

Where and how to travel?

Valle d'Encanto is located 165 kilometers from Lisbon international airport, and 190 kilometers from Porto airport. With a car you can get to the course within two hours. Renting a car is highly recommended to get best out of your trip.

Where to stay?

There are several accommodation options within 15 km radius. We are discussing with some nearby options about player discounts and other benefits. More information coming later! There is also a couple of spots for campervans onsite.
