NBDG On The Road

Natural Born Disc Golfer (NBDG) is the most exprienced and active disc golf event organizer in Europe. Since 2016 we have organized over 1650 disc golf events. Most of these events are based in Finland, but there has been events also in Spain, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Netherlands.

NBDG On The Road was launched in 2025 and the vision is to offer high-quality disc golf events and create experiences for players across Europe. In the inaugural season we organized 7 main events and 8 side events in 5 different countries (Germany, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Portugal). Almost 550 players joined these events.

Here are the main ideas behind this series:

  • Expand our organizing range outside Finland
  • Grow the sport across Europe
  • Organize quality events in cooperation with local clubs and courses
  • Create experiences to disc golfers around Europe
  • Share our knowledge and experience to local clubs and courses

SEASON 2026

We are now in early February and the full event schedule for 2026 is expected to be announced very soon. We have already a nice bunch of events confirmed and more to be added in the upcoming days. The full schedule is expected to have from 8 to 12 main events.

  • Two or three days, three competition rounds
  • Always side events and activities in the schedule
  • Maximum spots up to 160

NBDG Experience

  • Most common event format
  • PDGA C-tier
  • One day events with two competition rounds
  • Maximum spots up to 72/90

NBDG Flex

  • PDGA C-tier
  • One round event with flex starts
  • A side event to NBDG-X and/or NBDG Experience event schedule

NBDG Doubles

  • Casual doubles event, no sanctioning
  • One round event with flex or shotgun start
  • A side event to NBDG-X and/or NBDG Experience event schedule
